Located in the Kissimmee area, this lush resort community is twenty miles from Orlando International Airport, ten miles from Universal Studios and Sea World, and only two miles from the Walt Disney World Resort. The resort community's Town and Private houses range in size and number of rooms, however all include full kitchens, washer/dryer, individual climate control and multiple cable televisions. The resort community includes a club house containing a fitness center, sauna, tennis court, game room, meeting rooms, concierge services, and business services with internet access. The community also features a pool and spa area, nature trails, volleyball court, and a children's play area. Emerald Island resort has its own 2 court tennis centre with hard surface courts set in Emerald Island's typically tranquil surroundings. For those looking to enjoy some tennis on vacation, there is a supply of tennis racquets and balls in the clubhouse for you to use (a small deposit is required). The volleyball court is situated next to the children's playground, next to the club house. The scenic nature trail provides an enjoyable hike through the 11 acre Nature Reserve in the centre of Emerald Island.
